our history

In 1961 Germano Scozzoli, native of Forlì, after doing his military service, contacted the employment office of Ravenna looking for a job as a salesman.

After a few days he was offered a workplace in a shop in via Paolo Costa that sold gastronomy forniture and equipment for grocery stores, butcher shops and bars. His job included sales, customer assistance, repairing and credit collecting.

Three years later Germano Scozzoli decided to leave his job to set up his own business with the same kind of product but addressing to a different target this time: the hotel-tourist sector.

He decided to start his new job in Cervia and he founded a small shop adjacent to Piazza Andrea Costa, considered a landmark by citizens. Downstairs there was the workshop and the office was on the mezzanine. At the beginning Germano used to do equipment repairs in Cervia, Cesenatico and in the surroundings areas.

Two years later, his business was growing, the space was not enough anymore and meanwile Germano learnt about the Angelo Po Company, with which started to collaborate and continued until today. In 1967 the Scozzoli Company moved to a wider shop to include also a small exhibition of  Angelo Po’s cooking equipment and forniture.

Aronud 2002 the business extended thanks to the acquisition of a warehouse in Montaletto,Cervia. In 2006 the structure was further extended in order to  house the exhibition, the offices, the workshop and the warehouse. In 2007 Scozzoli srl started to collaborate with Artigiana Inox, a company specialised in stainless steel production  for both series and customised products.
